Tiger Primed for Masters

Three days from now Tiger Woods will be teeing off in what might be the most important golf tournament he has played since he first won the Masters in 1997. For years it has been a foregone conclusion that Tiger would eclipse Jack Nichlaus’ record of 18 majors. Certainly Tiger 2000 had people predicting numbers like 25 majors before he called it a career. Thirteen years later and half a dozen controversies behind him and the possibility that Tiger will not even reach 18 is very real.

However, if Tiger wins this weekend and that number becomes very attainable. Lose and people will continue to question whether he can ever become the majors master he one was.
